Olokun  is an orisha. Olokun is believed to be the mother of Aje, the orisha of great wealth and of the bottom of the ocean.

Olokun in Isale Eko is worshiped by the Abore Olokun who is ordained by the entire community and approved by the Eleko.
There is a nine day worship called Ose and the Ose nla comes at the third Ose which is specially celebrated and special prayers are offered because of the attendance by people all over Lagos.

EYO OLOKUN IN LAGOS

Eyo Olokun in Lagos, Yorubaland. Eyo Olokun is connected with Olokun, the Yoruba Orisha of the sea. It works closely with other Deities to herald the way for those that pass to ancestorship, as it plays a critical role in between Iku and Aye and the transition of human beings and spirits between these two existences. The Eyo Olokun Palace is situated at 6, Agbo Olokun Court, Isale Eko, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
